The North America team is currently looking for a Welding Technician who will be the primary technical resource for weld process training, oversight, troubleshooting, and new weld technology integration.

 

Your Impact

  • Manage and document process improvement projects to optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) attainment and eliminate process waste.
  • Track welding arc time utilization and improve from current baseline
  • Develop weld schedules and fixturing design for new product development (NPD)
  • Weld process conversions from manual to robotic (collaborative robots and traditional robots)
  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment at all times.
  • Support the efforts on any ancillary equipment and processes.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of welding experience
  • LOTO Certification
  • Strong technical, process focused resource with a deep understanding in AWS (American Weld Society) standard welding processes
  • 5 years robotic programming experience preferred
  • Technical degree (A.S. or B.S.) preferred
