This is a 12 month contract position based in Corpus Christi, TX. Testing and training will take place in New Iberia, LA.

Per diem may be provided while testing and training.

Candidate should be based in Corpus Christi, TX.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

Contract welders- Structure

Scope of work: Carbon and Stainless-Steel Structure tube welding, must be able to weld box tubing connections that require groove welding and fillet welds using the FCAW process.

Contract welders- Instrumentation Tubing

Scope of work: fillet welds on 1/2″ diameter (0.049″) instrumentation lines connected with couplings using the GTAW process. Seeking highly skilled contractor.

Contract welders- Aluminum/Stainless Pipe Welder

Scope of work: Aluminum and Stainless closing welds on site. Range of diameter and thickness will be 2″-20″ sch. 40 and 80 pipe. Seeking Highly skilled Contractor.

Your Education Should Be…

• High school technical welding program or equivalent
• 3-5 yrs minimum experience as a welder
• Education may be substituted by extended experience

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Welds are often in difficult to weld positions and require precise technique

Requires climbing and out of position welding

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

Welder must be able to pass a ASME IX code test
