We are seeking an enthusiastic Field Customer Support Specialist to support our customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, with occasional support in other regions as needed.

 

Technical Field Customer Support Specialist I (Microbial Solutions)

 

Location: Remote – Netherlands & Belgium
Language Requirement: Dutch (fluent or native, minimum C1 level)

About the role:
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing on-site support at customer site and ensuring they can make full use of our products. To do so, you will need to travel to our clients in the Netherlands and Belgium. Most of your week you will be onsite visiting our clients to give them the support they need. Working closely with the Customer Care team and the Regional Field Customer Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers succeed and in enhancing customer satisfaction with a client-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Deliver high-quality technical support upon completion of a thorough training program.
•    Build relationships with the commercial team in your region to help drive revenue growth.
•    Manage customer activities to achieve business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
•    Gather and share customer insights and relevant data with key stakeholders.
•    Coordinate with colleagues in the Field Customer Support team and Customer Care organization to streamline support services.
•    Effectively utilize internal software tools to deliver excellent service and manage data.
•    Prepare and organize weekly field activities to ensure optimal customer support.
•    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures (SOPs, safety protocols).
•    Foster strong cross-functional relationships to support overall business objectives.

 

Who We Are Looking For:
•    A degree in Engineering or Life Sciences, preferably in Microbiology, Biology, or Chemistry.
•    At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role (Field Service, technical, laboratory, or research).
•    Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English (C1 level or above).
•    Ability to independently manage schedules, travel, and administrative tasks in a dynamic environment.
•    Flexibility to adapt to the needs of customers and the business.

Nice to have:
•    In addition to Dutch an English knowledge of the French or German language.
