Critical front-line role supporting BWXT’s U.S Talent Acquisition team.  This role will be fully remote and will responsible for the following:

 

Job Duties

  • Supporting recruitment and selection processes across the U.S. by being the primary point of contact for candidates in the interview, pre-employment and onboarding processes.
  • Represents the Company by attending job fairs and engaging with area technical schools and colleges.
  • Administers candidate/new hire assessments.
  • Collects and maintains interview documentation.
  • Coordinates and schedules phone screens, candidate travel & expense reimbursements, candidate testing and on-site interviews.
  • Processes requested invoices, purchase orders and check requests.  
  • Represents BWXT Human Resources to the external marketplace.
  • Manages complex and competing priorities.
  • Guides employees through the employee referral process and manages payments.  
  • Responds in a timely and helpful way to both external and internal requests and inquiries.
  • Provides the highest level of customer service through all internal and external support interactions.
  • Supports multiple geographic locations and facilities.
  • Actively contributes to and leads continuous improvement projects.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent required with direct experience providng fast paced talent acquisition activities to include execution of continuous improvement projects. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Previous experience working with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools, with yellow belt level certification strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, produce accurate results and effectively prioritize work tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage the stress of a high-paced and demanding work environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced use of Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Team player with willingness to cross-train. 

 Pay: $49,000 – $72,000

 

The base salary range for this position in VA at the start of employment is expected to be between $49,000 and $72,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed ‘at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
