  • This role will be part of a team that drives the centralized planning office with focus on strategic planning and prioritization of work, provide accurate reporting, coordinate, and organize mechanisms to ensure execution of the company’s primary goals and objectives.

What you’ll do

 

  • Demonstrate and cultivate collaborative relationships with senior leaders to ensure the planning office is successfully established and implemented
  • Responsible for supporting the Strategy and Planning office in managing the collection of reports from our COE’s and providing a comprehensive report to our CPO
  • Supports our internal mechanisms such as MBR, QBR, and our Annual Operating Plan in ensuring the People Team COE’s are meeting our goals and metrics
  • Consistently operate with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Collaborate across the organization to optimize business programs, goals, and objectives
  • Leverage advanced knowledge and skills to prioritize, collaborate and act as a strategic thought leader in providing guidance to People leaders on important business decisions by identifying areas of opportunities for continuous improvement, and implement best practices to increase efficiencies, reduce cost and time, and improve delivery and results
  • Create processes, tools, and reports to accurately capture key metrics of activities to help leaders integrate planning and process improvement to set, manage and achieve targets
  • Coordinate and oversee plans, ensure priorities are aligned with business strategy, needs and expectations, and track at risk metrics and actions to keep work on time
  • Prepare reports, data, and presentations for People leaders to create transparency and visibility and effectively communicate status of work
  • Serve as an advocate driving change; be an internal resource to help support and prioritize initiatives, manage progress, and key performance metrics and improve visibility, coordination, and execution across teams to promote peak operating efficiency and ensure a one team mentality
  • Lead large-scale critical projects as directed
  • Ability to pivot priorities with weekend coverage to deliver ad hoc requests

 

All you’ll need for success

 

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of strategic planning, process improvement or project management experience
  • Familiarization with HR Center of Excellence operating models
  • Operational knowledge and experience is preferred
  • Proven success collaborating across a wide variety of cross functional teams and initiatives

 

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience  

  • Previous airline experience 
  • Previous experience in HR 
  • Experience in project management
