- Have a key role in designing airport agent work processes and developing customer facing policies and procedures representing Customer Care and our partner carrier as we enhance policies and procedures.
What you’ll do

- Project manager for current and new partner, joint business and oneworld initiatives for the airports
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with our partner airlines to improve collaboration within our airports.
- Represents American Airlines on working groups related to alliance efforts
- Uses collaborative planning to improve the customer experience across our oneworld/joint business/partner networks
- Consults with Internal departments (Strategic Alliances, Customer Care, Customer Operations, Revenue management) to provide support for new and current partner programs
- Consult with our partner carriers to triage concerns, improve our seamless experience, and collaborate on company goals
- Implement customer care policies and procedures associated to our partner carriers including automation initiatives
All you’ll need for success
Minimum qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent project management experience/training
- 2 years’ experience in an airport operational role (Customer Care and/or Customer Operations)
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Experience in leading a team or multiple projects
- Experience with airline collaboration
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Knowledge of cultural diversity and awareness around global interaction
- Knowledge of business unit functions and cross-group relationships
- Knowledge of process of airports with background in varied specialized departments
- Negotiating and consensus building skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to have a high degree of initiative and motivation
- Ability to build alliances and reach effective solutions across multiple departments within American and our partner airlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
