Summary/Responsibilities:
Senior Manager for the Mission Operations Development team. Responsibilities include ensuring program areas are appropriately staffed, salary and performance management, and hiring staff when necessary. Owns the processes that defines how the team develops operations products (e.g. procedures, handbooks, training materials, etc.) In addition to management duties, this position will support active programs across the Geosynchronous, Science & Exploration, Space Logistics and Human Spaceflight areas.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) and 10 or more years of related experience is required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
• Previous experience performing Mission Operations Development work
• Previous experience on-console performing mission operations. Both LEO and GEO ops experience are desired but not necessarily required.
• Background in satellite ground system is desirable.
• Previous management experience is desirable but not required
• Prior experience developing cost/schedule estimates for large programs is required.
• Prior experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) required
