What will your job look like?

You will:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize OpenVMS applications.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of DCL (Digital Command Language) for scripting and automation.
• Implement and manage advanced C programming techniques, including runtime storage management and performance optimization.
• Work with Tuxedo and Tuxedo API with C to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs.
• Utilize expertise in Apache to manage web server configurations and development.
• Put in practice your expertise in working with Oracle RDB SQLMOD for DB interactions.
• Have good understanding on OpenVMS ACMS & Greenscreens (DECFORMS)
• Create comprehensive design documents based on new requirements.
• Develop detailed interface documents for new and existing applications.

All you need is…

• 8+ years’ experience as a software engineer or a software support engineer.
• OpenVMS: Advanced level proficiency.
• DCL (Digital Command Language): Advanced level proficiency.
• Advanced C Programming: Expert level proficiency, including runtime storage management and performance optimization.
• Tuxedo: Advanced level proficiency.
• Tuxedo API with C: Advanced level proficiency.
• REST API: Expert level proficiency.
• Apache: Expert level proficiency.
• Oracle RDB (SQLMODs) : Expert level proficiency.
• OpenVMS ACMS/DECFORMS: Expert level proficiency.
• Design Documentation: Expert level proficiency in creating design documents as per new requirements.
• Interface Documentation: Expert level proficiency in creating interface documents for new or existing applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• HP Cobol development is plus
