AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Autosar Software Architect.

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AUTOSAR Software Architect to join our software development teams developing high-tech controls for agricultural machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing AUTOSAR-based software architectures for embedded Ag systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of robust and scalable software solutions.

Ensuring high quality and low diversity for our software applications between Agco Products is a key element that the candidate will work on.

 

Your Impact

  • Design and Architecture: Develop and define AUTOSAR-compliant software architectures that align with customer requirements and industry standards. Ensure software architecture supports scalability, modularity, and reuse across multiple platforms.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and guide the software development team in the implementation of AUTOSAR-based solutions. Provide technical expertise and ensure adherence to best practices and AUTOSAR guidelines.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with system engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand and analyze software requirements. Translate these requirements into technical designs and specifications.
  • Software Integration: Work in collaboration with engineers in charge of the SWC component integration and Basic Software Modules (BSW). Ensure communication between software layers and modules.
  • Configuration and Development: Work in collaboration with the engineers in charge of onfiguring AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) and Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) components. Define AUTOSAR Software Components (SWC) as needed.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and propose improvements to meet the Ag system’s reliability, safety, and real-time constraints.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure software development adheres to Ag quality standards (such as ISO 26262). Conduct code reviews, architecture assessments, and technical audits.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive software architecture documentation, including design specifications, interface descriptions, and configuration files.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other architects, engineers, and testers in a collaborative environment. Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development, with at least 3 years in a role focused on AUTOSAR architecture.
  • Proficiency with AUTOSAR toolchains (e.g., Vector DaVinci, EB Tresos, or similar tools).
  • Strong experience with embedded C/C++ programming.
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay).
  • Understanding of ISO 26262 and functional safety concepts.
  • Proficiency with tools and technologies about Autosar such as Vector DaVinci Configurator, Elektrobit Tresos Studio
