About the role

We are now searching for a Senior Finance Analyst (FP&A & Global Marketing Finance) to support the CEO/CFO in providing analysis and commentary on Group performance and manage multiple touchpoints with Commercial, Supply and Corporate teams where inputs from segments are required. The Senior Analyst (FP&A & Global Marketing Finance) will be responsible for the delivery of Annual plan, Forecast, Strategic Plan, Month-end, Global Brands A&P spend tracking and coordinating global summary of NPD reporting and analysis. 
 
Reporting into the FP&A & Global Marketing Finance Director, this position will be based in Melbourne and will work closely with Regional Commercial Finance, Supply Finance and Corporate Services teams and will act as FP&A Business Partner for various segments/functions of the business, providing support for the global reporting and planning cycles. This role will require flexibility for the occasional meeting out of regular business hours to communicate with UK and US stakeholders.
 
This is a full time, permanent position.

Role responsibilities

 

  • Support the CEO/ CFO and GM Commercial Finance in providing analysis and commentary on AW Group performance, and manage multiple touchpoints with Commercial, Supply and Corporate teams where inputs from segments is required
  • Go-to-financial support for Global Brands team for modelling pf project financials and Gate financials
  • Monthly management reporting both internally (ELT/SLT) and externally (Bain, lenders)
  • Timely and accurate delivery of Annual Plan, Forecast and Strategic Plan analysis ad reporting
  • Timely and accurate delivery of month end reporting, forecast and annual plan financials
  • Timely and accurate delivery of Global Brands A&P spend tracking against forecast and Budget, including accruals and R&Os
  • Coordinating global summary of NPD performance & driving actions to deliver R&Os

What you’ll bring

· Minimum 5 years accounting / financial management experience
· Demonstrated strategic financial decision making
· Commercial analytics, decision support or business strategy experience – preferably in FMCG
· Degree level education
· High level interpersonal skills and attention to detail 
· Excellent report writing and presentation skills
· Superior project management skills and ability to complete complex tasks with a high degree of competence in a realistic timeframe
· CA / CPA qualified
