AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Senior Engineer.

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically proficient professional to join our engineering team in the role of Functional Geometry and Drawing Quality Reviewer. This critical position focuses on ensuring that both 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings meet the highest standards of geometric accuracy, functional validity, and design intent. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth evaluations to verify that designs are not only accurate and complete but also manufacturable and aligned with all relevant internal standards and industry regulations.

This role requires close collaboration with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders, including product design engineers, manufacturing teams, quality assurance, supply chain, and compliance personnel. The reviewer will play a key role in identifying potential design issues early in the development cycle, ensuring that parts and assemblies will function as intended, and minimizing downstream errors that can lead to costly rework or delays.

By maintaining a strong focus on design quality, functional performance, and compliance with GD&T, ASME/ISO drawing standards, and internal design guidelines, the Functional Geometry and Drawing Quality Reviewer will directly contribute to the success and reliability of our products. This position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of engineering design principles, a keen eye

for detail, and a commitment to supporting efficient, high-quality product development.

Your Impact

  • Identify and report inconsistencies, errors, or missing information in design data that could impact downstream manufacturing or assembly processes.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to resolve design issues and improve drawing quality.
  • Support change management processes by reviewing drawing and model updates during engineering change requests (ECRs/ECNs).
  • Frequent training to design team on Audit observation.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • Experience in CAD design, drawing creation, and review (preferably in automotive, off highway (Tractors and Harvesters), aerospace or heavy machinery industries).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and experience applying ASME Y14.5 and ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and drawing release processes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
