The Role
The Strategic Engagement Team Senior Director for Mid-Market and Channel sales is a critical leadership role within the Lumen Strategic Pursuit division, to create and sustain a sales channel to sell and cultivate solutions which are built-on and pull-through the Platform Lumen hybrid portfolio. The Senior Director generates net new incremental revenue growth, maintains and grows existing revenue in billing accounts. They design, develop, launch and maintain partner programs within the Mid-Market and Direct Channel team as well as across the channel organization.

The Main Responsibilities
- Lead a team an organizations of 8-10 SET Executives, including recruitment, coaching and team development
- Mid-Market and Channel partner business/capacity planning, quarterly business reviews, and establish/track partner performance metrics
- Develop and implement strategy to increase the sales and sales engagement activities with key partners and Mid-Market clients
- Grow net new incremental business by driven large deals to closure
- Create and drive Mid-Market client and Partner channel pipeline creation
- Drive revenue with Mid-Market clients and partners at senior/executive levels
- Define strategic direction for sales relationships and influence strategic direction
- Evaluate and optimize sales model to drive revenue
- Develop and execute business sales strategies
- Develop, maintain, manage, and execute budget
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Minimum eight plus years’ experience in sales, consulting, business development, and/or relationship management in the IT and Networking Industry.
- Eight plus years of direct sales and channel/partner leadership experience
- Bachelors’ Degree or relevant years of experience. Graduate degree is a plus
- Extensive experience in sales and channel organizations
- Extensive knowledge of single and multi-tier indirect channel sales models.
- Ability to Travel up to 50%
- Fundamental Software, Managed Services (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS), Hosting, Cloud experience
- Certification(s) from the partners being managed, where available are a plus
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
