Job Description
The Sales Assistant Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading a team of Sales Assistants including providing training and mentoring. This position helps standardize how Sales Assistants interact with borrowers, operations, and Mortgage Bankers. The Lead Sales Assistant also supports Mortgage Bankers as assigned.

How You’ll Spend Your Time
- You will oversee a team of sales assistants, including coaching, training, goal setting, and performance evaluations.
- You will assist in training new Sales Assistants, mentor them, and collaborate with the Sales Manager on work priorities.
- You will ensure Mortgage Bankers have confidence in the training and skills of new Sales Assistants.
- You will recommend procedural and organizational improvements to enhance efficiency and implement system processes.
- You will update loan applications with borrower information and ensure all required documents are obtained for underwriting.
- You will collaborate with processors to gather documents and answer questions from Underwriters.
- You will monitor pipeline reports daily to ensure files move according to established service level agreements.
- You will review borrower documents to ensure they meet guidelines and communicate any follow-up items needed.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through the completion of an Associate’s Degree or 2+ years of related experience; or 4+ years of equivalent work-related experience.
- Proficient PC and software application skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a competent and professional manner.
- Extensive knowledge related to financing, qualifying buyers, and lending guidelines.
- Advance understanding of documents needed when obtaining a mortgage.
- Extensive knowledge related to loan programs, products, and pre-qualifying requirements and procedures.
- Thorough working knowledge of: Underwriter conditions, BOKF compliance guidelines for the integrity of files, NetO reports, basic Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Government loan guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills (including verbal, written and interpersonal) including oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership ability and team-building skills.
- Exceptional customer relations skills and/or experience.
- Excellent ability to organize work priorities in order to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail.
- NMLS required.
