Manages and leads RF engineering development and implementation projects. Responsible for technical aspects as well as for the growth and development of the team.

What will your job look like?

  • Perform 5G/VoLTE/LTE network optimization and drive test analysis
  •  Work on network improvement and optimization tasks
  •  Work on Drive test log file data analysis and troubleshooting
  •  Perform new feature trials  for network improvement
  • You will be accountable for meeting quality objectives. Ensure that the team follows the best RF engineering practices, quality processes and methodologies. Lead continuous improvement via Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learnt and Prevention processes. Track quality critical metrics and acts to continuously improve quality and measurements.
  • You will promote clarity and alignment by communicating effectively, on an ongoing basis, to the project team on the unit goals and status, project matters, companywide changes, special initiative status, etc.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvements/efficiencies to the RF engineering and/or business processes throughout of the box thinking on product and processes and by utilizing or creating new engineering tools and different innovation techniques.
  • You will lead efficiently the key partner relationship and communication to ensure that the project’s delivery is aligned to meet not only the customer’s requirements but to add value to the business as well.
  • You will advocate, works with project teams to understand the need for change. Plan, communicate and execute the desired changes.

All you need is…

  • Demonstrated experience between 5-7 years using statistics monitoring to optimize 5G/VoLTE/LTE RAN Networks
  • Demonstrated experience working on Ericsson 5G OSS access and commands
  • Demonstrated experience analysing 4G/5G Layer 3 messages and making recommendations of parameter changes for network improvement
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and analyzing parametric network data 
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting multiband, Layer strategy and multivendor network
  • Proven experience troubleshooting multi-technology 5G/VoLTE/LTE, using event log Analysis.
  • Experience in RF wireless design engineering for a telecommunications system.
  • Must have experience working on an Ericcson carrier. 
  • Verizon Optimization experience is a plus.
