JOB PURPOSE
This position, directly reporting to the Raw Material Manager, will support the RM Development team in delivering the end to end Raw Material development process in the Shoes BU.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inputting and updating FlexPLM with RM Data ensuring accuracy is maintained throughout the collection.
- Inputting and tracking Raw Material orders on Excel and FlexPLM, following up with Suppliers.
- Requesting to suppliers of Sampling Raw Material Technical Specs and uploading the data on the various platforms.
- Stock checking our warehouse/BM warehouse of raw materials and their substitutions.
- Following up with Vendors for missing raw materials and daily deliveries.
- Archiving of raw material masters for leather substitutions used during sampling;
- Warehouse archiving, dividing raw materials by typology, making colour cards and lists of available stock.
- Working closely with Product Development team making sure that information flows seamlessly
- Organising, filing and archiving swatches and colour cards and RM research.
- Providing support to Design team with management of swatches, colour cards and RM research.
- Updating boards and collection books
- Shipping and delivering of all upper components (structures and upper raw materials).
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Some Raw Material experience required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with large volumes of data entry, ensuring complete detail and accuracy even when working at speed.
- Good communication skills, able to effectively share information with the team in a clear, concise way.
- Knowledge and passion for fashion and products in relevant category – ‘fashion sensibility’ – knowledge of trends, the market, the luxury consumer and peer awareness.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at pace with flexibility, initiative and solution orientated.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Computer skills: PLM, excel, InDesign.
- Availability to travel.
- Knowledge of English Language is a plus.
