The Role

Supports Dark Fiber Project Management Team; coordinates various assigned project activities that may include gathering and reviewing a variety of data using company resources, compiling and formatting data to a finished product, and getting necessary approvals to meet required management timelines.
 

The Main Responsibilities

•Assists PM Team in driving implementation of activities for highly complex projects/programs for external/internal customers
•Accountable for supporting PM Team in timely project completion and delivery.
•Analyzes and updates project deliverables
•Develops methodologies, procedures, and systems to produce project tracking & reporting.
•Demonstrates the ability to fully support PM team to manage multiple complex projects.
•Communication of project critical dates and coordination internal schedules related to the activity and workload;
•Coordinate trouble resolution and implement changes to prevent problem recurrence.
•Actively seeks opportunities to transform the business and eliminate costs.
•Provide consistent feedback on improvement opportunities related to the process and projects.
•Strives to ensure that each project is high quality, meets the measures of success.
•Develops/updates project progress and status reports.
•Preparation of quarterly project integrity audits, development & implementation of enhanced tracking, and reporting.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Minimum Qualifications:
•Highly Organized and detail oriented
•Experienced with project management/coordination.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work-related experience.
•Must be proficient in the following software applications:
•Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook),
•Microsoft Excel (ability to sort, filter, calculate formulas, link worksheets and knows keystroke shortcuts), with demonstrated skill in data gathering and analysis.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
•Ability to communicate project needs to internal teams/vendors.
•Utilize a consultative approach and maintain strong working relationships across multiple departments; internal and external; 
•Motivated self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced work environment is a must.
•Strong ability to provide leadership/mentoring to other team members.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
•Proficient in Microsoft Project with the demonstrated ability to update complex project plans
•Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint with the demonstrated ability to work within lists, uploading documentation.
•CAPM Certification or Project + ITIL v3 or higher certification.
•Previous Telecommunication/Networking Project Management/Coordination experience.
•General information technology and networking knowledge (especially wireless technologies such as Cisco Meraki) is a plus

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$54,150 – $72.200 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$56,900 – $76,000 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$59,850 – $79,800 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$62,700 – $83,600 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
