Overview:
Manage and administer critical subcontractors, including preparing key RFPs / RFQs, proposal evaluation, price analysis, cost analysis and contract negotiations. Prepare and negotiate FFP and T&M Government subcontracts and generate compliant subcontract folios. Meet subcontract pricing objectives. Advise management of contract rights and obligations, assess and determine the appropriate T&Cs, including flow-down provisions for all subcontracts. Monitor and follow up critical subcontractor’s performance and product deliveries. Implement and support export control whenever applicable. Receives incoming subcontractor calls and documents all correspondence. Prepare letters, memorandums, reports, weekly status and all relevant correspondence. Maintains subcontract documents and records, including training records. Prepares Subcontract correspondence, reconciliation between CostPoint and the subcontract, including modifications, resolution of open commitments and invoice coding. Perform report analysis and special projects in support of internal and external audits, as well as departmental reports and database creation in CostPoint. Supports SDRL submittals. Assists in expediting invoices and accruals interfacing between subcontractors, Accounts Payable, IPT Members and Shipping & Receiving Department.
Required Qualifications:
• Top Secret Clearance required.
• A Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• Six (6) years of related experience in government subcontracting environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the FAR, FAR Supplements and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
• Will need to be able to work in a secured environment with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
• Continued education in Contracts or Procurement
• NCMA
• Professional certifications
