About the role:
The Operations Specialist I is responsible for providing operational support to Quincy customer fulfillment center, and other sites as identified (Coventry RI, Alpharetta GA), through collaboration with Managers, Supervisors, Trainers and other personnel to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, customer expectations are met, and operations performance objectives are achieved. 

 

This is an onsite role at our Quincy, MA office. Relocation assistance is not available for this position and Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide WMS/LMS process support
  • Analyze supply chain and operational data, and identify key trends, correlations, and improvement areas (e.g. order mgmt., freight, service level, inventory optimization, and lead time improvement) ; Build and maintain methodology and tools for ongoing analysis.
  • Ability to align and understand relationship and constraints between analytics, processes, and business requirements. Model impact of to-be scenarios.
  • Maintain and update key information and data in core department applications.  
  • Support and lead projects, develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to divisional and global participants, manage project to timeline, and successfully achieve project goals.
  • Develop and report out key performance indicators.
  • Work with 3PL’s and other Distribution centers to drive BSC requirements for receipt, storage, shipping, returns and rework of product. Collaborate with CS, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory management to address issues as hand
  • Provide Capacity Planning analysis and support in order to maintain operational capacity within the DC
  • Performs other duties as required.

 
Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree focused in Business, Management, Operations, Logistics, or Data Analytics
  • 1+ year of experience leading projects
  • 1+ year of experience in a distribution or warehouse environment

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Medical Device Experience or similar experience with FDA regulated products
  • Data Analytics experience and/or training
  • Warehouse Management System experience
  • Labor Management System Experience
  • Lean Six Sigma experience/training
  • 5S/House keeping/ESA (Essential Strategic Assessment) experience
  • Proven ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to lead projects, identify obstacles and pull in parties needed
  • Boston Scientific experience

Maximum Salary: $115900 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com–will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
