In one sentence
The Operations Partner is responsible for managing the service activities at the account. He/she will either be dedicated to the management of a large, single project, or will manage a number of smaller projects in parallel.
What will your job look like?
- The Operations Partner (COM) leads the managed services activity on site.
- He/she has teams that maintain Amdocs customer and business centricity and should focus on an in-depth understanding of the customer’s business requirements, processes, and technical systems.
- The COM manages, through a dotted line relationship, the equivalent management (Director or Project Managers (PMs)) from the relevant CCs in OCC (ADM and PSG), and covers production activity 24/7.
- The COM collaborates with the Customer Business Executive (CBE), who has overall responsibility for Amdocs business with the customer.
- The COM and CBE are linked by common goals, targets, and performance measurements. In addition, the COM interacts with the Customer Delivery Manager (CDM), who leads Delivery activity until production BAU, and performs a handshake with the CDM/Deployment Manager.
All you need is…
- At least a Bachelor’s degree
- At least 10 years’ experience in managing and leading big teams
- Experience in Amdocs product portfolio (e.g CES 9.2)
- Proven track record of managing customers and large organizations/projects
- Proven planning and execution capabilities
- In-depth business understanding of the customer’s environment and the intended use of the system developed
- Ability to work within a matrix
