Role Details
We have a newly created position for a National Account Executive (Coles) to support the performance across one of our major retail brands.
Based in Melbourne, the National Account Executive will work with the wider Coles Liquor Sales team to best maximise resources, execute promotions, create & implement business strategies to achieve all distribution, revenue, sales, brand & profit targets defined within the Retailer.
The role includes interactions across all multiple key internal functions (supply, finance, category & brand) as well as developing long term collaborative relationships with the Retailer.
This is a full time, permanent position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with digital & online channels within Coles Liquor (Liquorland, Vintage Cellars & First Choice)
- Promotional program management (including slotting & submission for all Coles liquor promotions)
- Trade spend management – All agreed promotions accrued & entered within the relevant business systems & approved by required stakeholders
- Volume Forecasting – communicating the most accurate forecast of promotional assumptions to key
- stakeholders within the business
- Business performance tracking & reporting – focus on both internal & external KPI’s (RSV, market share, Net Revenue & Profit
- Fortnightly/Monthly customer WIP’s
- New Line form/private label tender submission management
- Management of sample process – ensuring correct samples are provided during the range review process
- Interactions across all multiple key internal functions (supply, finance, category & brand) & with external counterparts within the Coles liquor commercial & supply chain team.
What you’ll bring:
- University degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline (preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Business Development
- Previous interactions & dealings with Coles, Coles Liquor, Woolworths or Endeavour Group is advantageous
- Demonstrated account & customer management experience
- Business / Commercial acumen
- Strong written & verbal communication
