Cascades Containerboard Packaging in Richmond BC is now hiring a Red Seal Millwright to join their Maintenance Team! Successful candidates will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, and work collaboratively with their team members to perform preventative and routine maintenance throughout the facility.

  • Salary for Millwright / Mechanic $48.64/hour
  • Schedule: Rotating 8 hour shift schedule, days/afternoons/nights

  • Short Term Disability & Long-Term Disability benefits premiums covered 70% employer and 30% employee.

    Membership in the BC Pulp & Paper Pension Plan. The contribution levels are 10% employer contribution and 8% employee contribution with bridging benefits at the age of 60.

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Richmond, as the Millwright / Mechanic :

  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and rebuilding corrugate manufacturing machinery.
  • Maintaining and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and components.
  • Completing planned work order requests on time.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

 

There’s nobody quite like you! Respect your true nature by puting forward your strengths:      

  • Valid Inter-Provincial Red Seal Millwright certificate.
  • Minimum 1 – 3 years experience in a production/manufacturing environment. 
  • Able to work overtime as operationally required 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Welding experience will be considered an asset
