Job Description

The Manager, Consumer Sales Enablement is responsible for developing sales growth strategies to increase revenue and customer acquisition. This role plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between sales strategy and execution. This strategic leader collaborates across various functions within the Consumer Bank to accelerate sales activity and drive success. The Manager, Consumer Sales Enablement’s primary focus is on enhancing sales team productivity through training, resources, and tools, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, and product strategies for effective customer interactions.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • You will create and execute strategies to enhance sales team performance and streamline processes for better interdepartmental collaboration.
  • You will work with various teams to identify opportunities, understand market trends, and develop programs that enhance sales effectiveness by leveraging insights from different departments.
  • You will implement and manage sales tools in line with the sales enablement strategy while staying updated on the latest technologies to boost sales productivity.
  • You will assist in prospect qualification, helping bankers prioritize leads and ensuring the sales team has the resources to engage potential customers.
  • You will set key performance indicators for sales enablement, regularly measure and analyze results, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
  • You will leverage enablement findings and data-driven insights to refine processes, enhance customer interactions, and drive revenue growth.
  • You will create and manage high-quality sales content and training programs in collaboration with various bank departments.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field of study and ­­7+ years of experience in ­­­­­­­­­­­­­sales enablement, sales operations, or a related field in the banking industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven track record of driving deposits and loan growth through sales enablement strategies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Consumer Banking products, services and industry trends.
  • Exceptional priority, time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills to effectively handle projects in a fast-paced, high volume and deadline intensive environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills including database and spreadsheet analysis, advertising and research with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral and written reports and presentations; ability to communicate with senior level management, regulators, and executive officers.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and team building skills.
  • Advanced PC application skills including Word and Excel.
