The Role

The Service Validation Lead ensures the solution is validated per well-defined scope and agreed-upon success criteria.  The role works with the Service Design Lead and other practice areas to determine if the solution meets or exceeds Customer expectations in terms of its functionality, delivery, quality, and the value it provides their business.  The team is tasked with coordinating all parties, specifically controlling, monitoring, and communicating action items, risks, and issues during this stage of the established intake process.

Location

The Professional in this role will reside in the continental United States and can work from home. 

The Main Responsibilities

  • Focus on delivering an elevated Customer experience with a high level of care and attention to detail\by providing program management for the duration of the service validation phase and offering project governance for the framework around how the Service Validation component of the service lifecycle will be managed.
  • Develop reusable processes, methods, skills, knowledge, and experience to achieve specific and measurable objectives according to the Service Validation acceptance and success criteria.
  • Gather requirements along with the high-level objectives to ensure alignment with all members of the overall organization, reaching agreement on scope along with key assumptions from all stakeholders.
  • Finalize the end goals to close out the Service Validation phase and establishing success criteria and how these are measured.
  • Establish an agreed-upon timeline, start date, and duration and holding true to the timeline while mapping defined roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities to ensure correct allocation of resources.
  • Consult with subject matter expects and technical resources as appropriate during the Service Validation phase to facilitate successful outcomes.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Excellent program and project management skills and experience are critical, PMP preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or equivalent years of experience 
  • Five years’ experience in a managed services, operations, networking, communications, program or project management, or another technical role. 
  • Moderate technical knowledge across Global network infrastructure, edge cloud capabilities, connected security, communication, and collaboration services.  
  • The ability to overcome business and technical hurdles, demonstrating the business benefits and operational path required to achieve change. 
  • Able to maintain focus on objectives while also managing through ambiguous and dynamic business environments. Comfortable working in both a direct and matrixed operating structure.  
  • Excellent  verbal, and written communication skills.  
  • Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high-quality solutions to both technical and executive audiences. 
  • Minimal Travel may be required on occasion (limited out of town)

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

$84,740 – $112,980 in these states: AL  AZ  FL  GA  IA  IN  KS  MO  MT  ND  NM  OH  OK  PA  TN  UT  VT  WI  WV  WY 
$88,980 – $118,630 in these states: CO  HI  MI  MN  NC  NH  NV  OR  RI 
$93,210 – $124,280 in these states: AK  CA  CT  DC  DE  IL  MA  MD  NJ  NY  TX  VA  WA
