Project Manager, Technical Services Group, Inc. – Erwin, TN
This is a senior level management position reporting directly to the TSG Senior Manager in Erwin TN.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible to lead decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) services under a multiple year contract with Nuclear Fuel Services (NFS). NFS is a NRC licensed manufacture of fuel material for the nuclear reactors used in the U.S. Navy.
Supporting the TSG Senior Site Manager, specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- The effective management, including detailed planning and execution of complex, multi-year D&D projects through identification and completion of critical path and parallel work activities to achieve optimum performance.
- Applies advanced understanding of company’s business to improve project cost effectiveness, employ change management, risk management and opportunity management principles, and improve project margin.
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship with clients that leads to future work.
- Leads project and discipline managers to achieve project success.
- Serves as the Acting Site Manager in the absence of the Site Manager.
Education / Knowledge:
- Bachelor of Science in relevant degree (Engineering, Science, Business) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in leadership in the project management field or related area.
- A minimum of 5 years management/supervisory experience on large, complex projects involving radioactive and/or hazardous waste generation and disposal.
Additional Requirements:
- Certification as a Project Management Professional is strongly preferred.
- Naval Reactor program experience a strong plus.
- Primavera software experience preferred.
- Must be a US citizen – no dual citizenship.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” clearance – a current clearance is preferred.
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $128,000 and $189,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed ‘at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
Pay: $130,000 – $ $217,000 per year
