The Role

Lumen’s Finance organization is looking for a Lead FP&A to join our Commercial Business (AGT) Finance team, specifically AGT (Accelerate Growth Team)  Central Finance, the team chartered to provide the consolidated financial support for Lumen’s CRO’s office in all matters Sales, Revenue, GTM programs and strategic initiatives. This is an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting the financial backbone of Lumen’s AGT group and learn the go-to market functions of a Telco/Tech corporation.

The Lead FP&A will be responsible for the delivery of financial analysis and insights into the Finance and business teams, supporting the business in achieving sales and revenue objectives. The Lead is expected to be hands-on in delivering analyses, reporting impactful insights, while collaborating with the Lumen Finance and Business teams located in North America to drive understanding of the business. This role requires strong analytical skillsets and business acumen to drive understanding of business performance and identify opportunities for the business.

This one-of-a-kind role provides the chance for a driven Finance professional who would like to explore what is to work in a Global tech company headquartered in the USA, while being part of a Polish-based team, based in our Poznan office. The core working hours are Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm Polish time.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple, highly complex Finance projects to support the C-suite business decision making process and provide insightful sales, revenue, and gross margin analyses.
  • Partner with Finance and Business to provide financial data, insights and recommendations for monthly performance trends. Support the Finance planning and analytics processes, to ensure high quality outputs and identify opportunities and risks to business performance.
  • Based on financial analyses performed, ideate actions that Business and/or Finance can work on to deliver annual objectives and business improvements.
  • Ensure effective communication, delivery of deadlines and commitments as key representative to Finance and Business stakeholders.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders (in business and finance) to drive simplification and standardization of processes, outputs and data.
  • Support Manager in the monthly reporting process by guiding other analysts through the data auditing to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Experienced analytical thinker, with proven record of delivering complex financial models focused on sales, revenue, product margin and cost optimization. Ideally with previous experience in Sales/GTM Finance.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance to deliver impactful results and drive value creation for the business.
  • A strong strategic mindset and problem-solving skills with ability to think critically.
  • A strong communicator in English with business partnering background and a proven track record at building relationships with stakeholders. Previous work with international corporations is a plus.
  • A strong interpersonal, time management and facilitation skills with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Thrives on continuous improvement – simplifying and automating processes and data using technology, while taking a hands-on approach to getting into the detail.
  • Savvy in solving complicated data and analytical challenges – evolves reporting and analysis to guide business and drive impact more effectively.
  • Highly skilled in advanced Microsoft Excel functionality (experience with Power Query or SQL is an advantage).
