Job Description
The International Payments Specialist II is responsible for processing advanced international electronic payments in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and banking regulatory compliance. Ensures all tasks are completed timely and accurately relying on advanced knowledge and understanding of departmental processes and service level objectives. Acts as a first point of escalation to assist with customer complaints, multifaceted requests, and assists with system testing. Communicates professionally with clients and other line of business partners to ensure customers are provided the highest level of service. Operates with limited direction and sets priorities for accomplishing work assignments.

How You’ll Spend Your Time
- You will process international USD and foreign currency electronic payments, ensuring accuracy and proper routing.
- You will ensure timely processing of payments, proper debiting/crediting, and compliance with regulations and bank policies.
- You will provide advanced customer service by resolving issues related to payment orders, regulations, and inquiries.
- You will maintain deadlines by adhering to procedures and regulations for international payment orders.
- You will act as a liaison for system upgrades and problem resolution, and provide backup support to International Payments Specialist I.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree in Business and 2-3 years’ experience in electronic payments, accounting, banking or other comparable environments. Strong knowledge of related Federal, State, and Industry standard regulations. Working knowledge of bank operations required.
