General Description
As a Medicare advantage sales representative, you will be responsible for selling Medicare advantage plans to eligible seniors in your assigned territory. You will educate potential customers about the benefits and features of our plans, conduct needs analysis, and enroll them in the plan that best suits their needs. You will also maintain relationships with existing customers and provide excellent customer service. You will work within Popular’s branch system, while receiving support and guidance from our sales managers and trainers. You will also have the opportunity to earn commissions and bonuses based on your performance and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate leads and referrals from various sources, such as cold calling, networking, events, and referrals.
- Conduct in-person or virtual presentations and consultations with potential customers, explaining the benefits and features of our Medicare advantage plans.
- Conduct needs analysis and enroll customers in the plan that best meets their health and financial needs.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and retention, and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Comply with all federal, state, and company regulations and policies regarding Medicare sales and marketing.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Attend regular sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
Education
Experience
At least two (2) years of experience in sales and customer service environment in the health care or insurance industry.
Other Qualifications
- Knowledge of medicare advantage plans and benefits.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Excellent sales and service strategy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Certifications / Licences:
Current and valid health insurance license in PR.
