Job Description

The Human Resources Onboarding Specialist performs many of the operational functions related to post-offer candidate experience, stakeholder communication, and legal/procedural compliance. This role partners with the Talent Acquisition team, HR compliance, hiring managers, IT and other BOK Financial departments to create a consistent new hire experience that allows our new employees to be productive in their roles “Day One”.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • You will partner with Talent Acquisition and act as a post-offer liaison between prospective new hires and internal stakeholders to answer questions and streamline communication for all parties. You will also create and execute various “Pre-Day One” and “Day One” communications to ensure that new hires, and all internal stakeholders, have the information necessary for a successful first day.
  • You will research and resolve all levels of inquiries regarding onboarding issues.  This includes performing troubleshooting on a variety of “Day One” new hire issues. You will also serve as first point of review in the due diligence process.
  • You will recognize and request appropriate written statements and documentation when necessary and escalate complex issues appropriately for final review and decision. You will also rescind offers of employment if necessary.
  • You will manage the onboarding import files to ensure the information coming from the applicant tracking system is accurate and flowed properly into the New Hire Wizard. You will also use the New Hire Wizard to compliment the data imported with additional information required for payroll processing.
  • You will partner with various BOK Financial stakeholders to ensure equipment, systems and physical security access requirements have been communicated to appropriate departments for prospective new hire. Coordinates enrollment of any new hire training with Talent & Organizational Development.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree and 3-5 years experience in human resources specifically or 5-7 years equivalent working experience.  Experience supporting a geographically dispersed, multi-site population is preferred.
