The Role

We are looking for a dynamic HR professional with experience in organizational effectiveness and transformation to join our HR Solutions team. We are amid a once in a lifetime opportunity to transform Lumen. We are looking for experienced HR OD/OE leaders for two critical roles. This role is critical in driving large-scale HR initiatives, focusing on aligning with business objectives and enhancing HR capabilities.  

 

Location: This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. Approximately 10% travel (varied dependent upon project needs). 

The Main Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation projects, including strategy development and implementation. 
  • Develop and execute plans to ensure successful adoption of enterprise business strategies and aligned organization design.  
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to translate business objectives into effective people strategies. 
  • Design and implement organizational models, including operating structures, roles, and responsibilities. 
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with various HR functions to deliver on project milestones. 
  • Use tools and methodologies to assess readiness, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and engagement. 
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to develop and execute HR solutions that drive business impact through innovative talent strategies. 

Qualifications

  • Proven HR experience in leading transformation and organizational effectiveness initiatives. 
  • Strong background in developing and implementing people strategies that align with business goals. 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver on tight timelines. 
  • Exceptional communication, ability to coach on EQ / LD and to influence and engage senior leaders. 
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects, including M&A and organizational restructuring. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with expertise in talent and organizational strategy, or related fields with 4+ years of leadership experience.  

 

Preferred: 

  • Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Organizational Effectiveness. 
  • Certification as leadership coach.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

$135,060 – $180,080 in these states: AL  AZ  FL  GA  IA  IN  KS  MO  MT  ND  NM  OH  OK  PA  TN  UT  VT  WI  WV  WY 
$141,820 – $189,090 in these states: CO  HI  MI  MN  NC  NH  NV  OR  RI 
$148,570 – $198,090 in these states: AK  CA  CT  DC  DE  IL  MA  MD  NJ  NY  TX  VA  WA
