About the Execution Services Executive role

 

The Execution Services Executive role is a great opportunity to work as part of a multi-channel team providing services to Execution Only/Self Directed clients by dealing professionally and promptly with trading and customer service requests whilst ensuring compliance with regulations.

 

Execution Services Executive Business Accountabilities include:

 

  • Responsibility for the timely and accurate placing of orders on behalf of Wealth Management Execution Only clients including equities, investment funds and bonds.
  • Ensure that activity through the Trading desk is completed in line with all relevant compliance/governance rules.
  • Strong client centric focus in dealing with customers ensuring excellent client outcomes.
  • Relationship development for strategic clients who seek a more personalised service.
  • Customer success approach to introduce customers who may be interested in other Wealth Management Services.
  • Proactively identify products or services that can add value to our customer proposition
  • Keep up to date on market trends paying particular attention to digital channel offerings

 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ year’s experience in a financial institution.
  • Proven track record in creating an excellent customer experience
  • A business related third level qualification would be a distinct advantage
  • An understanding of the current regulatory environment regarding PRIIPS, Complex Instruments and Best Execution would be beneficial
  • Experience of using Fidessa or equivalent systems would be helpful
  • Knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel would also be expected
  • The successful candidate should be a Qualified Registered Representative of the Irish Stock Exchange. If the candidate does not hold this qualification, GBS will sponsor the candidate who will be expected to obtain this qualification within an agreed time frame.

  • Ability to handle multi tasks in a pressurised and demanding    environment.
  • The large volume of trades executed through the trading desk requires the candidate to be capable of working with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency with excellent attention to detail and organisation.
  • Awareness of the regulatory environments would be an advantage.
  • Flexible, positive attitude in their approach to work. Working as a key part of the team in providing support to colleagues and ensuring that the department maintains optimum performance and delivery of objectives.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple demands.
  • A professional manner – presentable and personable with a calm demeanour
  • A team player but also with the ability to work on own. The initiative to challenge traditional ways of working and actively propose and drive digital change where applicable.
