Job Description

The Director, Institutional Sales- BOKFS is primarily responsible for leading the Institutional Sales team at BOKFS, providing strategic direction, oversight, and overall management to drive growth in Institutional Sales. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to maintain and enhance existing revenue streams and identifying new opportunities for revenue generation by selling innovative client solutions and promoting bank integration efforts nationwide.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • You will lead and execute all Institutional Sales strategies to meet and exceed business plans.
  • You will establish sales operating plans with business development objectives and sales goals.
  • You will develop a comprehensive sales business plan and strategic direction for annual and long-term objectives.
  • You will ensure new investment sales officers receive training and assist with continuing education and special topics.
  • You will provide supervisory oversight to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
  • You will conduct effective sales and presentation training for financial consultants.
  • You will develop and enforce policies for effective use of Salesforce CRM within the sales team.
  • You will analyze CRM data to generate insights and reports for strategic decisions and improved sales processes.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience in securities sales including at least 5 years of experience managing a sales force. Active Series 7, 52, 53, 63, and 24 licensing required.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively represent self and BOKF, as well as ability to explain and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies to formulate effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to persist through ambiguity and move ahead regardless of barriers.
  • Exceptional ability to effectively manage personal and teamwork assignments while balancing the conflicting demands of stakeholders.
  • Natural collaborator with advanced knowledge of securities products, financial markets, macroeconomics, finance, and accounting.
  • Active Series 7, 52, 53, 63, 24 securities licenses, and others as may be appropriate by sales situation.
