What is the Role:
Reporting to the Core Tribe Technology Lead, the successful candidate will be expected to lead a technical team of QA and Automation experts within the Core Banking domain, taking responsibility for implementing best in class technology solutions and providing oversight on technical direction for automated QA and Engineering pipelines as well as providing strategic direction for the modernisation and automation of the delivery of Core Banking change. You will be a recognised Engineering and QA Lead providing insight and expertise in directing others and ensuring maximum productivity by constantly monitoring and improving quality. You will be analysing complex issues and understanding business opportunities or issues in order to build solutions over a multi-year timeline.
Key accountabilities;
- Lead a technical team of QA and automation experts.
- Provide technical direction to your team.
- Provide strategic direction for modernization and automation.
- Build solutions over multi-year timeline.
What you Will Bring ;
- At least 10+ years’ experience in software development and QA, with at least 5 years in a lead role.
- Deep technical knowledge of the following : Core Banking applications across multiple technology architectures including Mainframe and Java/Linux.
- Experienced in QA automation tooling including the deployment and ongoing modernisation of automated pipelines across multiple business domains.
- Experience of Agile Methodologies.
- Experience of producing technical strategy papers and mobilising initiatives to implement them.
- Be a strong and committed team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- An excellent customer service attitude and the ability to interact with people
