About the Role
We are now recruiting for a Compensation & Benefits Advisor to join the People & Communications team based in Sydney for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the Global Remuneration Benefits and Reward Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and fair pay practices across our global business by supporting key remuneration processes, including benchmarking, the annual remuneration review, and short-term Incentive administration.
This role is vital in harmonising benefits across the business, contributing to incentive program design, and supporting the roll out of the new remuneration framework for the merged organisation. Your insights will inform reward strategy and ensure competitive offerings in new regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support key remuneration processes, including benchmarking, the annual remuneration review, and short-term Incentive administration.
- Assist in benefits harmonization efforts, reviewing existing programs, analysing employee uptake, and supporting the implementation of consistent benefits across the business.
- Assist with external data submissions, including salary surveys (Mercer, Aon) and gender pay gap reporting (Australia and UK).
- Contribute to the design and administration of incentive programs, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Support the roll out of the new remuneration framework for the merged organisation.
- Review market practices in new regions, analysing local remuneration and benefits trends.
- Monitor market trends and benchmarking, providing data-driven insights to support remuneration and benefits decisions.
- Provide project support on global and regional remuneration and benefits initiatives. Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, analyse data, and deliver insights.
- Prepare and communicate remuneration insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, or data analytics within HR environments.
- Experience with external compensation frameworks e.g., Mercer and Aon.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of global remuneration practices and trends.
