About the Role

We have an exciting casual opportunity for a Cellar Door Host at our Petaluma Cellar Door. If you have a genuine passion for wine and customer service, then this role is for you. 

You will be the face of our winery, delivering exceptional wine experiences to our visitors and show casing some of the finest wines in our diverse portfolio. 

We are seeking a Permanent Part Time team member to join our Petaluma team to work 4-5 shifts per week, with the opportunity for additional shifts.

We will also consider applications from the right candidate that is looking for causal/flexible work.
 

Key responsibilities include:

•    Deliver an exceptional customer experience to cellar door customers, acting as tour guide, experience host and tasting guide
•    Operate the cash register, including daily opening, closing and balancing duties
•    Promote wine club membership to visitors and sign new members
•    Undertake daily housekeeping duties to maintain the cellar door appearance
•    Restock the cellar door and stock room
•    Pick, pack and dispatch wine orders for customers

What You’ll Bring

•    A genuine understanding and passion for wine, and the ability to communicate our unique brand history to customers.  
•    Exceptional customer service skills, providing our customers with the best experience possible. 
•    Responsible Service of Alcohol training (RSA)
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with experience in a cellar door or the wine industry (highly desirable) 
•    Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft suit and EDM software (desirable)
