Job summary:
Responsible for overall compliance to Occupational Health and Safety as required by the Department of Labor and Employment. Also, the position will be providing administrative support for building and administrative services to ensure the safety of staff and our company assets.
Responsibilities:
- Safety and Health
- Assists in the development, planning, and implementation of health and safety standards in compliance to national and local government regulations
- Leads and guides the Occupational Safety and Health Committee in the implementation of health and safety standards through monthly meeting and completion of government-related documents
- Conducts safety audit with shop representatives in compliance to Safety and Health standards. Submits monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Department of Labor and Employment in the regional and national offices.
- Leads the Emergency Response Team in setting up safety measures in building / office facilities
- Creates awareness on health and safety standards on a regular basis or as needed
- Conducts onboarding and staff training on health and safety standards
- Gives updates to the Head of HR and Admin. on new government regulations relating to health and safety. Makes necessary changes or amendments in the policy as needed
- Represents the Company for government-initiated meetings, forums, seminars and litigations.
- Initiates due process for non-compliance to safety and health standards, and recommends decision to the Head of HR and Admin and Head of Department on penalty for the violated policy.
- Administrative Services Support
- Preventive maintenance of facility such as office furniture, equipment, and transportation to ensure that they remain safe, secure, and maintained.
- Conducts routine check-up and inspections of facilities, equipment, and machines to ensure their proper documentation and functioning.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of third-party security and janitorial personnel.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

1. Competitive salary from P25 to midpoint depends on experience and level of competencies.
