The Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations in Poznan, Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making. The manager will also be responsible for statutory reporting in several countries in the EMEA region, financial statement audit support, corporate income tax support and VAT tax support.
The Main Responsibilities
- Manage the daily accounting compliance operations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Provide financial analysis and support to business decision-making.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in English and Polish.
