As part of the Offer & Order Management team, you’ll play a key role in shaping this evolution at American Airlines. This unique opportunity allows you to guide the airline through a pivotal shift, overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge solutions, and representing AA in key industry working groups organized by IATA, ATPCo, and ARC on the industry’s push towards modern retailing and selling.  This role is a part of the Offer & Order Management team within the Revenue Engineering group.

What you’ll do

•    Influence American Airlines’ strategic direction of Offer/Order Management to position us as a leader in modern retailing
•    Lead initiatives to optimize our e-commerce platform, supporting commercial needs and managing implementation and execution to drive revenue growth for American Airlines and enhance the overall customer experience
•    Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop delivery roadmap and define requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
•    Present strategies and analyses to leadership, securing approvals and aligning the organization on decisions, timelines and solution recommendations
•    Partner with Engineering to execute short-term initiatives while developing future-state enterprise capabilities
•    Participate in industry working groups (i.e. IATA, ATPCo) to help forge best practices and new industry standards

All you’ll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

•    BA/BS in Business, Aviation, or related field, or equivalent training/experience
•    Minimum of 4 years of airline, retail technology or related field
•    Ability to translate high-level vision into technical requirements
•    Innovative thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset 
•    Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find solutions quickly and efficiently

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

•    MBA preferred
•    Analytical skills with ability to synthesize large datasets
•    Experience working in an Agile environment as a Product Manager/Owner with good understanding of IT systems
