We are hiring an Outside Plant Program Manager in North Carolina. As an Outside Plant Program Manager for CommScope’s Pre-Engineered Product, you will be responsible for interfacing with the end customer, Product Line Management, Sales, Manufacturing, onshore and offshore Design Organizations – bridging the gap between the teams and providing a seamless flow of information. Understanding technical requirements and ensuring all organizations have a common understanding. Developing and managing the end-to-end program flow and deliverables from a Professional Services perspective.
How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:
Interface and Communication
- Act as the key interface between end customers, Product Line Management, Sales, onshore/offshore Design Organizations, and 3rd party vendors.
- Effectively communicate Pre-Engineered OSP FTTx technical requirements internally and externally.
Technical Translation
- Translate intricate technical requirements into tangible action items, ensuring a common understanding across all involved organizations.
Design Review
- Review and assess design requirements to guarantee accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
- Collaboration Facilitation
- Promote and facilitate collaboration within teams and across organizations, fostering an environment conducive to effective information flow.
Adaptability and Learning
- Demonstrate the ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment, quickly adapting to industry developments.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- 10+ years of OSP Design Experience in HFC/Telco/Fiber Optic plant construction.
- 5+ years of Program Management Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in large or multiple HFC/Telco/Fiber Optic plant construction programs, service, or plant maintenance, including a deep understanding of outside cable plant construction practices, regulations, and standards.
- Advanced knowledge of FTTx architectures.
- In-depth understanding of Fiber Optic theory.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, QGIS, Comsof, SpidaCalc, Quick Pole, and other design related tools.
- Read, modify and understand utility plans, detailed design documents, permit and construction drawings, including line routing and overhead/underground distribution.
