About the role
As a TheraSphere Project Manager, you will manage several business-critical projects for TheraSphere Y90, the largest revenue generating product family in the Peripheral Interventions division. In this role, you will report to the Associate Director of TheraSphere Program Management, within the IO&E (Interventional Oncology & Embolization) Franchise. You will collaborate with internal and external business partners locally and internationally, ensuring projects are appropriately planned, prioritized and delivered in line with key business objectives.
The projects you will oversee will vary in size and complexity and will span across a wide range of business areas including Operations, Supply Chain, Supplier Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, New Product Development, Clinical Trials and Global Expansion. This role interfaces with key functional groups both internally at Boston Scientific and externally with contract manufacturers and suppliers. Many projects will be highly complex, requiring close partnership with internal and external technical teams. These projects will have a high level of visibility throughout the TheraSphere organization, requiring regular updates to Senior Leadership.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and demonstrate leadership skills in project, process and/or people management and be able to execute with limited supervision. You will engage with various team members and stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions both internally and externally to plan projects, secure necessary resources and deliver project results. Your success in this role requires an understanding of where all active and proposed projects fall in priority for the business, and you will be expected to form a cohesive strategy to ensure successful delivery project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently manage medium to large sized, multi-site, cross-functional teams.
- Generate and implement project plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritization and workload adjustments.
- Build team ownership and commitment to project plan and identify, manage, and communicate project risks.
- Prioritize, delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to drive execution of project deliverables and minimize risk.
- Interact with senior personnel on complex matters requiring coordination between organizations.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates to Senior Leadership.
- Identify resources required for project activities, develop and own project budgets, resource allocations and timelines.
- Partner and collaborate with a variety of functions, regions, and business resources to achieve project objectives.
- Domestic and international travel as requested.
- Other duties as required.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated project management experience leading cross functional teams and managing project scope, schedule, budget and deliverables while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Radioembolization pharma experience
- Experience with medical device or pharmaceutical Quality Systems
- Proven experience in managing and executing projects in collaboration with contract manufacturers and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to manage by influence
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Comfortable communicating and presenting in front of many levels within the organization
- Results oriented and positive attitude focused on delivering best-in-class performance
- Proficient in project management software & MS Office applications
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of time in role with valid passport
Preferred qualifications:
- Oncology, nuclear medicine or pharmaceutical experience
- Project Management Professional Certification
- Technical engineering experience

Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
