Job Title: Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Engineer

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Support Engineer to join our team. The IAM Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for the company’s IAM systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IAM concepts and experience with IAM tools and technologies. The IAM Support Engineer will collaborate closely with IT professionals, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the company’s IAM systems function effectively, efficiently, and securely.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the company’s IAM systems, including user provisioning, authentication, and authorization processes.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to IAM technologies and tools, such as user directories, access control systems, and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize IAM support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Document and track IAM support requests and resolutions using ticketing systems and other tools.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge articles and documentation related to IAM support processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IAM system integrations.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations to provide after-hours support for critical IAM issues. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in identity and access management, including experience with IAM tools and technologies.
  • Experience with user provisioning, authentication, and authorization processes.
  • Knowledge of IAM technologies and tools, such as user directories, access control systems, and SSO solutions.
  • Linux Experience: Understanding and experience with Linux.
  • Ping Technologies: Knowledge and/or understanding of Ping technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with other IT professionals and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and other support tools and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations to provide after-hours support for critical IAM issues.
