Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regularly meet with Investment Committees of 401k plan sponsors to review the latest financial markets and economic developments, discuss the performance of the plan’s investment menu and make any recommendations as needed.

  • Provide ongoing support to the Retirement Plan Administration group in all tasks and inquiries related to investments topics, mutual funds, etc.

  • Able to execute investment transactions.

  • Assist in any audit request from internal or external auditors.

  • Prepare quarterly investment performance reports for clients.

  • Perform investment reviews for discretionary accounts according to their Investment Policy Statement.

  • Able to prepare reports and materials for internal committees and ad hoc requests.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Stay up-to day with industry’s best practices and regulations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree completed from an accredited university or college in Finance, Economics, or related field.

Experience

Previous working experience in an investment consulting role, with a focus on pension plans.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to present complex financial topics in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in financial and investment analysis tools.

  • Familiarity with financial products. Ex.: mutual funds, CITs, ETFs, stocks and bonds

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
