The payroll specialist is responsible for the processing, validation and ensuring timely pay to all employees, as per the instructions and adjustments provided by HR. The payroll specialist should maintain accurate records and data and ensure that payroll deductions and reporting comply with the legislative requirements.
What will your job look like?
- Ensure that employee compensation data is correctly considered for payroll processing. Maintain checklist and ensuring all payroll input received and considered in respective payroll.
- Verify CTC report received from C&B and compare with payroll register
- Verify Tax computation for all employees.
- Active participation in Payroll induction and ensuring timeliness in new hire documentation process.
- Prepare dashboard and compare the payroll cost with previous period.
- Calculate the tax and social benefit deductions as well as non-mandatory deductions
- Review salary register, full and final computation, Social benefits details.
- Update salary Journal entry in books, Prepare Payroll schedule
- Timely response to employee queries
- Quarterly tax return and issuance of form 16
- Validate that HR instructions and payroll processing comply with legislative requirements
- Calculate Leave, Gratuity accrual and provide them to GLs.
All you need is…
- 5-6 years experience in payroll
- Minimum intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Extensive knowledge of payroll end to end
- Knowledge of statutory requirements
- ERP: minimum 2 years
- Strong customer service capabilities
- Advanced English skills
