Position Summary:

As part of the Sales Operations group, the Performance Program Manager oversees the implementation and execution of the Account Advancement group’s Key Success Objectives (KSO) program.

This position engages closely with people leaders, including executives, to define and set key success objectives for the group that support the business’s overall strategic objectives. The Performance Program Manager owns the framework behind the KSO program, oversees its operation, including reporting and continuous improvement, and makes recommendations to leadership regarding attainment and payout for program participants.

This position supports the Account Advancement mission by providing an objective and robust system underpinning performance management across the group. 

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Own the framework or methodology that underpins the Key Success Objectives (KSO) program including developing and maintaining all documentation, internal controls, audits, and process maps as needed
  • Execute the KSO program with a high level of objectiveness, excellence, and autonomy
  • Partner with the Colleague Success Business Partner and Regional Enablement Directors to support people leaders in the development of well-defined KSOs for their direct/indirect reports
  • Provide oversight and verification to ensure that KSOs are clear, measurable, and objective and that their outcomes are ultimately aligned with Bentley / AAG business priorities
  • Review progress against objectives in conjunction with people leaders and make impartial and fair recommendations for attainment threshold and associated payouts
  • Collaborate with people leaders as needed, supporting them in the resolution of any disputes or challenges relating to KSOs
  • Oversee the early “drawdown” option and ensure all terms and conditions are met and any drawdown does not exceed defined policy and parameters
  • Provide group-level and business-unit level analysis to AAG leadership including reporting on overall business unit progress against objectives and identifying any emerging trends or patterns
  • Define and report against critical success measures of the program and demonstrate operational excellence through regular review of the program, identifying opportunities for improvement including process and tools/systems to further elevate the experience for colleagues and leaders alike
  • Ensure the integrity of the program at all times and provide appropriate guidance and materials such that all colleagues and people managers understand the expectations of them within the program
  • This role may require infrequent travel to a Bentley office location

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Track record of program management, including process improvements, systems enhancements, and enablement
  • 10+ years of combined experience across Sales, Operations, Finance, or equivalent roles
  • Financial and business acumen, ability to translate or connect corporate strategic objectives with appropriately cascaded business-unit level KSOs
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights, draw data-driven conclusions, and establish recurring reporting to monitor performance
  • Extremely effective and confident communicator with exceptional English writing and public-speaking skills; capable of interacting with colleagues at every level and across every business line
  • Demonstrated experience in confidently putting forward and maintaining a strong position on a topic and being able to explain clearly your reasoning
