- This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.
- Responsible for collaborating across the IT organization with Project Managers, Desktop Managers, Technicians, Business Leadership, and Vendors, in order to ensure that technology assets and logistics needs are supported across the enterprise.
What you’ll do
- Understands business needs/requirements and strives to foster strong working relationships and open communication across the enterprise
- Provides day-to-day operational oversight for all IT Supply Chain needs within the local Technology Distribution Center (TDC)
- Provides project support, which may range from smaller airport operational moves to multi-million dollar terminal construction projects
- Deploys desktop assets/peripherals to end-users, provides logistical/delivery support, and supports asset recovery/reclamation activities
- Supports last-minute project requests and other special needs, providing available equipment and logistics support
- Manages local work queue and delegates to other TDC resources, as needed, to ensure end-user requests and break-fix work orders are handled promptly
- Monitors ongoing workflow to ensure support is meeting expectations and timelines
- Identifies concerns, risks, and issues and works with TDC team and appropriate stakeholders to mitigate
All you’ll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience as an IT Inventory Specialist
- 2 years of experience in a technical, professional environment
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Airline industry experience, including business process and supporting technology
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Logistics and internal Technology Distribution Center (TDC) processes
- Experience in Asset Management/Warehouse Environment
- Proficiency with Inventory Management databases
- Proficiency in handling operational issues effectively and understanding escalation, communication, and crisis management
- Proven planning, delegating, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
- Ability to coordinate, oversee, and deliver on multiple IT Supply Chain efforts, simultaneously
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a complex environment with high security standards
- Ability to thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment and leverage best practices
- Ability to function under potentially high stress and challenging situations
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Access, Outlook)
