Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Schenectady, as the Industrial Mechanic:

• Review work orders assign and proactively attend the work.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Servicing manufacturing equipment, boilers, air compressors, and electric lift trucks.
• Maintenance duties include machining, electrical, hydraulics, steam, pneumatics, and welding.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
• Share ideas for improvement with department manager
• Must be open to work more than 8hours when needed, including weekends

• Must be familiar in all aspects of electrical voltage, distribution, code interpretation and application.
• Must have the ability to work without supervision and to train mechanics of all levels in safe work practices.
• Must have high school diploma/GED.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial maintenance
• Electrical knowledge including of PLC computer programming, robotics, and related electronics is a strong asset.
• Selected candidate must possess their own tools
• MUST be able to pass a Maintenance skills assessment
