AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Data Stewardship and Quality Lead. Clean, actionable, and compliant data and effective analytics are a foundational requirement for a farmer first company. The Data Stewardship and Quality Lead will implement, and monitor data handling related policies, standards, processes and procedures in collaboration with Security, Legal, Compliance, IT, Domains, and key business stakeholders to ensure that data handling is effective, consistent and compliant. In addition, this role will coordinate and expedite all Data Quality and Stewardship activities, maintaining alignment and building trust with key stakeholders. Establish and monitor Data Governance, Quality and Compliance Team ways of working by establishing best practice and a Global Data Stewardship ‘community’. Specify and develop Data Quality and Compliance KPIs to demonstrate continuous improvement and compliance. The Data Stewardship and Quality Lead will report to the Senior Manager Data Governance, Quality and Compliance   

 

Your Impact

  • Coordinate and align Data Stewardship activities with all Data Governance, Quality and Compliance Teams.
  • Work closely with all AI and Data Governance and Compliance Teams to always ensure strategic and operational alignment and visibility of deliverables.
  • Ensure Data Stewards follow and maintain robust security measures, including encryption, authentication, and authorization to safeguard sensitive data and maintain security.
  • Ensure all data handling activities are compliant with regional legislation and where necessary create work logs and an audit trail (data log) for sensitive data handling.
  • Establish a prioritization methodology/framework including cost, risk and effort to support short and long term work planning and as an input to the IT WSJF and Work Intake Process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency of data workflows including data cleansing, data quality improvements, KPIs and reporting.
  • Work with Data Governance (Informatica) and collaborators to create and maintain the data catalog and associated business glossary and data classifications.
  • Establish, develop and implement Data Stewardship best practices by creating a ‘hub and spoke’ model to work with global stakeholders, legal and IT
  • Maintain, prioritize and track business and IT data requests including issue resolution, project support and data cleansing.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify, establish or create data policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Create and manage work items in ADO including enablers working closely with Portfolio Management the business and IT. Lead and coordinate Agile methodology activities and presentations for the Data Governance, Quality and Compliance team

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Minimum of 7+years working in Data Management and/or Data Quality
  • Expert in advanced writing, verbal, and other presentation skills in English
  • Effective communicator / people skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business
  • management.
  • Experience based understanding of Data Architecture, Metadata, Data Lifecycle, Data Quality Standards and
  • Logical Data Modelling and Cloud Computing
  • Experience or hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement effective
  • solutions
  • Knowledge of data integration concepts and hands-on experience configuring and managing data integration
  • workflows, mappings, and transformations within IDMC
  • Knowledge of change data capture, Data warehousing, SQL, SQL server and Unix shell scripting
  • Experience of global working is beneficial
