Job Summary

 

As a Client Coordinator for our Global Client Services team, you will act as a liaison to the client manager team to assist with workload and out of office days.  Provide support to ensure timely, accurate and comprehensive responses to sponsor requests. Work with business specialists, scientific operations, business development, project coordination and business finance teams, as required, to ensure that a high-quality customer service is provided.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Qualify sponsors’ requests to ensure that an appropriate response is provided;
  • Ensure that RFP forms and other qualification information is complete to allow the compilation of statements of work;
  • Develop and/or review statements of work and change orders;
  • Follow up with clients to ensure that proposals are complete and answer their needs; 
  • Coordinate and facilitate proposal processes to ensure smooth and timely business process flow by working with scientific operations, business development, project coordination and business finance teams;
  • Interact with scientific operations and scheduling teams to identify the dates for study initiation and assist with rescheduling studies, as needed;
  • Update and maintain applicable databases;
  • Assist with client visits, including giving company tours and presentations;
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned. 
     

Key Elements

 

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

 

  • High school diploma;
  • 1-2 years customer service or related experience;
  • Experience in a contract research and/or pharmaceutical setting preferred;
  • Good organizational and communication skills. 

 

Role Specific Information:

 

  • Location: Remote (from one of our Canadian sites);
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (Regular day working hours);
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
