Summary/Responsibilities:

The Supplier Performance Manager is responsible for the administration and coordination of a supplier management integrated product (common hardware) team. The SPM shall be accountable through the assigned Category Manager to the Program Office for the equipment compliance to requirements, schedule and cost performance, anomalies resolution, and business relations with his/her assigned suppliers. The SPM shall be responsible for the coordination of all internal matters such that there is no redundant or ambiguous communication with, or direction to his/her assigned suppliers.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent and 6 years of related experience are required.
• Ability to identify Cost of products in the marketplace (cost competitiveness, pricing margins), the Supply requirements (delivery timing, volume discounts, inventory management) and the Quality of the product (proven product reliability).
• Strong leadership skill set, proven track record, ability to hit critical deadlines, risk management and program management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Aerospace global marketplace is a plus.
