Orbital ATK is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Integration and Test team in our Dulles, VA office.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

Senior Systems Engineer will support the engineering development for the new Pegasus Stratolaunch program, a new program to launch multiple Pegasus vehicles off of a new aircraft design.

The Senior Systems Engineer will be involved in the following activities: requirements definition, requirements verification, development of Systems Integration & Test documentation, as well as other system engineering activities during the design, integration, and testing of the vehicle

Experience Requirements:

• Candidate must have a minimum of four years of related experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
• Ability to travel: Travel expectation of 0% – 10%
• Experience performing systems analysis and design, requirements decomposition and allocation, and requirements verification

Experience Preferred:

• Electrical or Systems engineering background preferred
• DOORS experience desired
• Bachelors Degree (BS) in Engineering is required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong MS Office skills is required.
• Ability to work in a fast pace team environment and multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to solve problems

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor Degree in Systems, Electrical or Mechanical is preferred.
